A professional-grade, ready-to-use solvent designed for one job: getting your surface completely, invisibly clean before any coating goes on. Coatings don't fail on their own — they fail on dirty prep. WGR removes the wax, silicone, oils, grease, and polishing residue that sabotage adhesion, then flashes off with zero film left behind. What your coating touches is bare, naked paint.

Application Directions
- Work on a cool, dry surface out of direct sun.
- Dampen a clean lint-free microfiber with WGR — or lightly mist product onto the panel.
- Wipe in straight, overlapping passes across a 2'×2' section.
- Immediately follow with a clean, dry microfiber before the solvent flashes.
- Flip to a fresh face of the towel often — a dirty towel just moves contamination around.
- Inspect under strong light; re-wipe any streaks.
- Apply Undrdog HCC, Pro, or Pro Plus within 30 minutes for maximum adhesion.

Is Wax & Grease Remover safe for me to use?
It is a professional-grade flammable solvent — treat it like any other body-shop chemical. Always use it in a well-ventilated area away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Wear nitrile gloves and eye protection. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Full first-aid and California Prop 65 information is on the product label and SDS.
How long does one gallon last?
Enough to prep dozens of full vehicles when decanted into a spray bottle for panel-wipe use. Most detailers get a full season of installs out of a single gallon. WGR also does double duty as a post-polish residue wipe and as a paint-and-body repair prep solvent.
How is this different from an IPA (isopropyl alcohol) wipe?
Diluted IPA smears silicone and polish oils around instead of dissolving them, and often leaves a hazy film. WGR is a purpose-built body-shop-grade solvent blend that cuts through wax, grease, silicone, and polish residue in one pass and evaporates completely. It rates 9/10 on cleaning strength and 0/10 on residue.
What surfaces is it safe on?
Paint, clear coat, gel coat, bare metal, and glass. WGR is not intended for use on rubber, unsealed plastics, vinyl wrap, or leather — the solvent can dry or stain those materials. When in doubt, always test in an inconspicuous spot first.
Can I dilute it or use it in a pump sprayer?
No — WGR is ready to use straight from the can. Diluting it kills its ability to dissolve silicone and polish oils. You can decant it into a chemical-resistant spray bottle for panel-wipe use, but do not add water or alcohol. A lint-free microfiber or a dedicated suede panel-wipe cloth is the right applicator.
Do I need Wax & Grease Remover before applying an Undrdog coating?
Yes — every time. Even a freshly washed panel has invisible wax, silicone, and polish oils on the surface. Coat over that film and your coating bonds to the film instead of the paint, which is why coatings haze, streak, or quit early. WGR strips all of it in one wipe and flashes off clean, so HCC, Pro, or Pro Plus bond to bare paint the way they were engineered to.
